Two types of communications:
1. Synchronous
It is one type of communication that occurs in real time and can take place face to face communication irrespective of distance.
It is used for instructional activities that require higher degree of interaction.
Example: telephone conversation, instant chats and video conferencing.

- not requiring the people to communicate at the same time or in other ways it is type of communication where caller or message sender doesnot get instant respond from the person they want meet.
The activities that require more time in thinking before responding.
Example : E-mail, we chat and vle discussion forum.

Difficulties of synchronous
- multiple threads of discussion are difficult to follow.
-slow connection distracts the concersation.
-difficult to make quick comments by slow computer
Difficulties of asynchronous
-checking the discussion in vle, email and wechat is addtiobnal task for the learners.
-asynchronous nature discourages learners participation
